Anderson Ranch Arts Center + | Snowmass Village, US

Since 1978, top contemporary artists have visited Anderson Ranch Arts Center, a premiere destination for art-making and critical dialogue in contemporary arts, and produced quality artwork in the Patton Print Shop. The Anderson Ranch Editions are a collection of these prints.

The Anderson Ranch Editions publication program has invited emerging and established artists alike to work on projects across a variety of processes. In the Patton Print Shop, artists have the opportunity to experiment with their ideas in new ways. Printmaking has always incorporated cutting-edge technology with traditional skills, and the Ranch encourages artists to combine traditional print processes with the newest digital technology.

The resulting prints are made available for purchase and the proceeds provide ongoing support for all Anderson Ranch programming.

Anderson Ranch Arts Center is thrilled to be exhibiting at IFPDA for the first time and will show a selection of recent prints by Elliott Hundley, Steve Locke, Meleko Mokgosi, and Clare Rojas – all of which were made with the Anderson Ranch Editions program. To create these amazing works, each artist visited our campus located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains just outside of Aspen, Colorado, to collaborate with our resident Master Printer, Brian Shure. The Anderson Ranch Editions program began in the 1970’s and has a diverse history of working with emerging and established artists to promote supported experimentation in their practices, which is demonstrated in the recently created works we are highlighting here at IFPDA.
